Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the StackChum platform operated by StackChum LLC (“StackChum,” “we,” “our”). By creating an account, using any platform service, or contacting us about partnerships, you agree to these terms.
1. The platform
StackChum is a private shared-backend platform. It is offered to selected operators on an invitation or admission basis. We are not a hosting marketplace, a public PaaS, or a consumer SaaS.
2. Accounts
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your StackChum Identity credentials.
- You may not share credentials, attempt to access accounts that aren’t yours, or use the platform to harm others.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
3. Acceptable use
- No use that violates applicable law (including export controls, sanctions, anti-fraud, and consumer protection statutes).
- No incentivized affiliate traffic, cookie stuffing, click farms, or other practices that violate retailer or affiliate-network terms.
- No content that infringes intellectual property, defames, harasses, or endangers others.
- No use that would expose retailer or affiliate-network API credentials we hold to misuse.
- No probing, scanning, or attempting to penetrate platform infrastructure outside coordinated security disclosure (email partnerships@stackchum.com for coordinated disclosure intake).
4. Retailer and affiliate program compliance
When the platform integrates a retailer API or affiliate network on your behalf, you agree to comply with that program’s terms in addition to these terms. We may decline to enroll, suspend, or terminate use of any retailer integration that we believe is being used in violation of the underlying program’s rules.
5. Intellectual property
- StackChum retains all rights in the platform software, brand assets, and documentation.
- You retain rights in content and data you provide. You grant StackChum a limited license to process that content and data solely to operate the platform on your behalf.
6. Disclaimers
The platform is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, StackChum disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure against all threats.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, StackChum’s liability arising from or related to these terms is limited to the amount you paid for platform access in the twelve months preceding the claim, or one hundred US dollars, whichever is greater. StackChum is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages.
8. Termination
You may stop using the platform at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms or for operational reasons. On termination, the use-license in section 5 ends; surviving provisions include sections 5, 6, 7, and 9.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which StackChum LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
10. Changes
We may revise these terms. Material changes will be announced via the platform status surface. Continued use after a revision constitutes acceptance.
